Pastor

Shayne Baker was born and raised in Searcy, AR and has joined the staff of First Baptist Church in Charleston in October of 2011. Shayne is a 2000 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Biblical Studies/languages. He and his wife Dana have three children: Jill Pucik (married to Sam Pucik), Jenni Baker, and Peyton Baker.

Shayne has been involved in ministry since the age of 18 serving as Children's Pastor, Youth Pastor, Discipleship Pastor, and Senior Pastor. He loves spending time with his family and church family. Shayne has also been a part of Voice of Hope Ministries in Central America where he has taken several groups on mission trips.
